Your responsibilities

As Project Manager Simulation & Development Excellence (f/m/d) you ensure quality and excellence in developing sustainable and cost-efficient energy solutions for industrial customers You improve processes and best-practice methods, making sure they’re applied consistently across regions within the organisation You collaborate in project teams and enable them to deliver tailor-made energy solutions for industrial customers to the highest standards You actively contribute to establishing knowledge management in the organisation and develop relevant documentation for project development You promote knowledge transfer and exchange across regions within the organisation You model generation plants and customer production facilities using optimisation software during the early project development phase You interpret, evaluate, and analyse energy optimisation results in close coordination with project management You work with and manage collaborations with leading universities and research institutes

Your qualifications

A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Experience in project development of energy solutions for industry and with optimisation models for energy systems Interest in digitalisation and decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries Good knowledge of thermodynamics and basic financial modelling skills are needed, ideally with experience using optimisation and thermodynamic software (e.g., TOP Energy, Thermoflow) Entrepreneurial thinking and strong self-initiative An independent, reliable, and careful working style Fluency in English and German required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word A good sense of humour, team spirit, engagement, and enjoyment of working in an international, interdisciplinary team
