We are looking for a Project Engineer – Lean Production (m/f/d) to sustainably improve our production processes and actively contribute to operational excellence. In this role, you will work at the intersection of production, engineering, and planning, driving cross-site optimizations, standardizations, and the implementation of efficient Lean methods. You combine strategic thinking with strong hands-on execution — structured, pragmatic, and impact-driven.

Deine Aufgaben
Lean Excellence & Process Optimization
Develop and implement Lean strategies and production standards
Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
Plan and execute optimization projects, including the definition of production parameters
Build clear KPI systems and structure manufacturing instructions
Promote a strong safety culture and standardize complex production processes
Project Management & Implementation
Lead and support operational projects in close collaboration with production, planning, and engineering teams
Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
Select and procure production tools and aids together with technical departments
Cross-site Collaboration & Standardization
Harmonize and improve processes across multiple production sites
Apply and facilitate Lean methods (e.g. 5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM)
Report and communicate project progress to relevant stakeholders

Minimum Qualifikationen
University degree in engineering or completed training as a state-certified technician (e.g. in mechanical or electrical engineering)
2–7 years of professional experience, ideally in a mid-sized manufacturing company
Strong hands-on mentality with a focus on practical and implementable solutions
High level of initiative and ability to identify improvement areas and translate them into action
Experience with Lean methods (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Production System)
Cost-conscious and process-oriented thinking

Experience in cross-functional teamwork in interdisciplinary projects
Initial experience in the food or flavor industry
Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Navision
