The Role:
You already have first hands-on experience in corporate communications and want to take the next step in your career? As a PR Trainee (Volontär:in) in the DAZN DACH Communications Team, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, international environment where sports, media, and storytelling meet.
Over the course of the 24-month traineeship, you’ll deepen your understanding of strategic and operational communications, work directly on high-impact projects, and gain cross-functional experience across PR, corporate comms, and internal communications. You’ll support our day-to-day media work, develop your own projects, and help shape how DAZN is perceived across the DACH region.
You should bring a solid communications foundation from prior internships or entry-level experience, as well as the drive to learn fast and take ownership from day one.
This role is based in Munich.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Support the planning, drafting, and distribution of press materials (press releases, Q&As, talking points)
Handle and coordinate media enquiries with internal stakeholders across DACH and global teams
Support PR campaigns around key projects and rights such as the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League or boxing
Assist in planning and executing media events and interviews with DAZN spokespeople and talents
Track and analyse media coverage, compile reports and insights for internal stakeholders
Maintain media lists, press inbox and press site; ensure up-to-date information flow
Contribute to corporate communications, internal comms content and people initiatives
Collaborate closely with DAZN Media, Marketing, and Content teams on cross-departmental projects
What You’ll Bring:
University degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Business, or a related field
Previous practical experience (at least two internships) in corporate communications and/or PR
Fluent, error-free German (spoken and written) is a strict requirement, combined with strong writing and editing skills; confident English for daily business.
Strong understanding of media relations and a genuine interest in the sports and streaming industry
Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with media monitoring or CMS tools a plus
Creative mindset, strong team spirit and hands-on mentality
