About the Department of Nursing Science
The young Department of Nursing Science at the Institute of Health Sciences positions itself as a bridge between nursing practice and nursing research. By applying empirical methods from the health sciences, it advances the discipline and highlights the essential contribution of the nursing profession to high-quality healthcare. The department also plays a central role in the Nursing (B.Sc.) degree program, offered in cooperation with Esslingen University of Applied Sciences and University Hospital Tübingen.
