About the Role:





We are seeking a highly experienced, German-speaking Pre-Sales PKI Architect to support and accelerate our European expansion efforts in partnership with a leading enterprise certificate authority provider. This role is instrumental in enabling go-to-market success with a major security reseller in Germany and will work alongside sales and technical teams to scope, design, and deliver tailored PKI solutions.



What You Will Be Doing:



Act as a trusted technical advisor during the pre-sales process, supporting business development and scoping initiatives for multiple high-value security projects.


Work closely with enterprise customers to gather requirements and present PKI architecture options that align with their needs.

Collaborate with internal delivery teams and sales leadership to refine service offerings and provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle.

Translate complex technical topics into clear, business-relevant language for C-level stakeholders.

Own solution architecture design for enterprise PKI deployments across diverse customer environments.

Assist in proposal development, SOW creation, and pricing strategies.

What We Want To See:



Deep expertise in PKI solution architecture and certificate lifecycle management.


5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or senior engineering capacity.

Strong business acumen and ability to align technical solutions to business outcomes.

Fluent German and strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Experience working with or for enterprise security resellers or managed service providers.

Technologies used in this role:



Sectigo (preferred) or equivalent CAs (DigiCert, Entrust, GlobalSign, etc.)


Microsoft ADCS

HSMs (SafeNet, Thales, etc.)

Certificate Management Platforms

TLS, S/MIME, Code Signing, IoT PKI

Bonus Points for:



Familiarity with working in or alongside reseller ecosystems in EMEA


Experience delivering or scoping Sectigo solutions

Previous involvement in international PKI rollouts
* Sales engineering certifications or enablement experience
