Human Molecular Immunology (HMI) Lab within the Institute for Systemic Inflammation Research (ISEF) will be newly launched to address various research questions regarding the immunological mechanisms in patients with genetic inflammatory disorders. We are especially focused on the role of different types of inflammatory cell death and how their exacerbation leads to catastrophic consequences in patients with genetic burdens. Our interdisciplinary approaches involve in-vitro, in-cell, and in-vivo experiments.
