Tasks inspiring you

Your key responsibilities:

Customize and configure MES software solutions for production environments. Analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Support integration with databases and production systems. Collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide user training and documentation.

Qualifications that inspire us

Completed IHK Ausbildung or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields Solid knowledge of databases and strong programming skills (demonstrated through university, private projects, or student jobs) 3–5 years of programming experience, preferably including PL/SQL, Oracle, Java, and Python Experience with MES software and practical understanding of production environments Comfortable communicating in English (B2) and German (B2) Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles is a plus Industry knowledge in process industries Willingness to travel approximately 20% Based in NRW or open to relocation Available for at least 32 hours/week, full-time preferred Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly

A plus is always nice

French language skills, to support clients or teams in Francophone regions. A valid driver’s license, helpful for onsite visits in various locations. Industry knowledge in steel or aluminum production, enabling you to engage with clients in these sectors with greater insight.
