Job Description

Kipling Global is looking for an exceptional Intern, Merchandiser to join our Kipling Global Merchandising team based in Antwerp, Belgium.


Your mission is to obtain a deep understanding of the market situation, needs and competition of the Kipling brand. You translate the results of these analysis into merchandising opportunities and/or recommendations for the Kipling brand.


How You Will Make a Difference



You will support the team in the following areas:

Analyzing consumer trends and market dynamics, including competitor strategies and pricing structures, to identify key opportunities for the Kipling brand Participating in market visits, regional calls, and desk research to gather valuable insights into the Kipling landscape and consumer behavior Reviewing product categories and usage occasions (e.g., Travel, Back to School) to support strategic assortment planning Communicating key findings to Global and Regional Merchandising teams to help shape data-driven assortment strategies Leading global CompShop presentations in collaboration with the packs team, sharing competitive insights and recommendations Supporting product presentations and Go-To-Market (GTM) meetings, contributing to the alignment of product strategy and execution

Market and Consumer Analysis: Gaining a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes within the fashion and accessories industry Strategic Merchandising: Learning how to translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies and assortment recommendations that align with brand goals Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with global and regional teams, enhancing your communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment Product Lifecycle Insight: Understanding the end-to-end product journey—from concept and development to go-to-market strategies and seasonal planning
