Merchandise Financial Planner (m/f/d) – Hamburg







As a Merchandise Financial Planner you oversee precise planning and forecasting of merchandise for the Northern Europe market, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure optimal product assortment and achieve financial targets through strategic analysis and planning.

Top-Down Pre and In-Season Planning:

Develop and manage top-down pre and in-season planning

Sales & Inventory Forecasting:

Conduct monthly Sales & Inventory Forecasting

Trade Reviews:

Play a key role in Weekly Trade Reviews by communicating variances to sales/inventory targets and defining clear actions to address risks and opportunities

Promotional Reporting and Planning:

Review and report on promotional activations, addressing actions and risks to optimize results. Run financial scenarios to identify best promotional activation with consideration of Sales and profit

Pricing:

Review and report on pricing, price changes and identify opportunities within certain markets for price adjustments. Analysis of price elasticity

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Build strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders within the Merchandising Team and across functions, always striving for the joint success

2-4+ years of working experience in Finance, Merchandising or Consultancy You strive in a flexible and fast-moving working environment, and you ideally bring experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry You have a highly collaborative and approachable attitude combined with excellent communication skills enables you to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain strong working relationships You are proficient in managing large datasets and simplifying complex information for effective decision-making You are eager to independently and systematically explore new topics, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation You are fluent in English (verbally & written), German is a plus You are proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
