About your team
Be part of FIL Fondsbank GmbH (FFB) - one of the largest independent fund platforms in Germany. As a modern bank, FFB is part of Fidelity International, an owner-managed fund company. The Team “Software Development Data” develops and supports our data exchange between all of our internal systems as well as interfaces to our clients and service providers. We design databases and ETL Jobs, build reports, and maintain a document management solution. We are responsible for the smooth running and operations of material parts of FFBs technology platform, which also includes the 2nd level support.
About your role

In this role you will be part of a motivated team and implement changes in our data and ETL layer as well as our Data Warehouse Solution. You will cover the full software development life cycle and build scalable, performant, clean and maintainable solutions. Your key responsibilities are:software development with a focus on the data management layer of our applications implementation and support of complex interfaces for data exchange between our applications and business partners using modern and flexible ETL tools (Talend) design and development of our databases and data models creating and enhancing database queries enhancements on existing software solutions (BAU) analysis of potential incidents and fixing of code defects close collaboration with other delivery teams, technical support teams and business stakeholders participation in the 2nd level support of our applications (contact person for our business stakeholders and support with troubleshooting and ongoing optimization)

About you
Eager to grow your knowledge and your career, you’ll fit right in. You’ll succeed because you have:a master's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics or another relavant field at least 6-8 years of technical experience in Software / IT industry or financial industries in development or support functions experience in data modeling and ETL tools, preferable Talend extensive knowledge of SQL and experience in dealing with Oracle database systems excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English flexible, open, and innovative passion to learn and continuously grow ability to work closely within cross-functional teams experience with collaboration tools like Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNow willing to work onsite in Kronberg for 12 days per month
