Frankfurt International School in Oberursel is looking for an experienced, engaged and motivated

Manager of Marketing and Outreach (

part-time, 70%)

to coordinate and implement the school`s internal and external marketing and PR plan through social media and networking with external contacts and organizations.



The position is available as of 1 March 2026.



Applicants should hold a valid work and residence permit for Germany.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in PR, Communication, Social Media and Marketing Ability to establish and cultivate political contacts (current contacts preferred) Fluency in English and German in written and spoken form Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills Keen organisational and networking abilities Available for occasional evening and weekend work to support school events

Performance Responsibilities:

The duties of the position will include but will not be limited to the following:


Develops and implements the school`s marketing plan in the Rhein-Main Region and maintains an archive of press coverage Coordinates the school`s external relations activities with the Consulates, FIS Advisory Council, and regional organisations Provides proactive liaison support to the cities Frankfurt, Oberursel and the Hochtaunuskreis, as well as the Education ministry, the school district and regional school association Advances the media relations strategy including social media to assure positive coverage - or minimize media coverage when warranted - locally, nationally and internationally Provides key communication for major customers and relocation agents in conjunction with the Director of Admissions and Advancement Collaborates with staff to ensure access to and procurement of photos and videos needed for the school`s marketing purposes Actively supports the work of the other members of the Department of Admissions and Advancement Graphic design and publication responsibility for advertising and school-wide projects using Canva or Adobe Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Advancement and Head of School
