Your Role



As

Manager Corporate

Accounting (m/f/d)

, you will become part of our Corporate Accounting team of experts from industry, auditing, and consulting. We offer you the opportunity to work internationally and on specific topics with all divisions of our company and to be involved in more complex issues.

This position is a full-time role based at our global headquarters in Holzminden.




You will be independently responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations and for your contribution to regular IFRS consolidated financial statements. Furthermore, you will act as a global point of contact for accounting-related questions in supporting foreign subsidiaries and will be the main contact for external auditors within your area of responsibility. You will also contribute to the development of a unified IFRS accounting policy for the Symrise Group and bring your expertise to the development and implementation of new legal requirements. You will participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS). You will actively support the continuous improvement and digitalization of accounting processes to further enhance efficiency and quality in financial reporting. You will assist in integrating new subsidiaries into group accounting and support post-merger accounting activities. You will help prepare information for various internal and external stakeholders, including the Executive Board and Supervisory Board, investors, and regulatory authorities.


About You



Successfully completed university degree in business administration (or another relevant field) and/or further training as an (international) certified accountant Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting At least three years of professional experience in group accounting within an internationally oriented industrial company or an auditing firm Familiarity and proven practical experience with consolidation software Confident demeanor as well as strong communication and teamwork skills in an international corporate environment Independent working style and a high degree of personal responsibility High flexibility and resilience, positive attitude, and initiative Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
