As a

Lead Data & AI Platform Engineer – Agentic AI

, you will take overall responsibility for agentic AI strategies and their implementation on Azure. You will define roadmaps, evaluate new technologies (Azure AI Foundry, Agent Framework), and lead a team of AI engineers. You will ensure secure, responsible, and scalable multi-agent solutions and represent the company to customers and partners.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Strategic leadership and definition of the Agentic AI roadmap; selection and evaluation of new models, frameworks, and connectors in the Azure ecosystem Development of reference architectures and guidelines (Discover Compose Deploy Evaluate) for the implementation of agentic AI solutions Introduction and monitoring of governance, security, and compliance processes; advising customers and stakeholders Leadership and mentoring of the team; promotion of a culture of innovation, responsible AI, and continuous improvement Participation in pre-sales activities, presentations, and community contributions; close collaboration with Microsoft and partners to leverage the latest developments

A hybrid/remote setup is possible in Germany (primary residence required)

3+ years of experience in AI and software engineering with a focus on generative AI and multi-agent systems; deep Azure expertise Strategic and operational leadership skills; experience in building teams and programs Strong understanding of AI governance, data protection, compliance, and ethics; ability to analyze and manage risks Fluent German, very good English; strong communication and presentation skills * Innovative spirit, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to drive complex projects forward
