is looking for aLab assistant
(m/f/d) to join our Genotyping team in Eschbach. The genotyping laboratory supports the Corteva European breeding programs and performs pre-commercial quality evaluation of seeds. You will be working in a dedicated, enthusiastic, young team with cutting-edge technology in the field of high throughput genotyping. The position is suitable for beginners with some experience in lab work. This is a part- time (50%), fix-term (12 months) position starting in January 2026.Responsibilities
Receiving parcels Preparing samples for further laboratory analysis Preparation of buffers Performing DNA extraction with semi-automated instruments Conducting general Laboratory housekeeping activities Comply with safety standards implemented in the lab
Job Qualification
Education as Chemical Technical Assistant, Biological Technical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant or minimum Bachelor in relevant field (Biology, Chemistry) Full fluency in English and/ or German Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously A proactive, and detail-oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
