Unifeeder is looking for an experienced

Key Account Manager

to manage and grow major liner customer relationships in Europe. The role focuses on deep customer engagement, commercial development, and ensuring exceptional service delivery through our feeder network.




Working as Key Account Manager, Feeder Network, at Unifeeder





As

Key Account Manager

, you will take responsibility for managing some of Unifeeder’s most important customers. These customers represent a significant share of Unifeeder’s business, requiring strong commercial acumen, customer centricity, stakeholder management, and solution-oriented thinking.



You will act as the customer’s trusted advisor, negotiate service contracts, find network solutions, identify growth opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability. Collaboration with Operations, Customer Excellence, Finance, and your commercial colleagues is essential to ensure smooth coordination and best-in-class service for your customers.



This position can be

based preferably in our Aarhus or Hamburg office

, depending on the candidate’s profile and preference. International travel is to be expected.



You will report to Søren Castbak – Chief Commercial Officer.

Key

responsibilities




Manage key accounts

across the feeder network – build and nurture long-term relationships with major container shipping companies in Europe

Drive business development

by identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow your customer pipeline and portfolio

Negotiate and manage contracts

based on win-win principles, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

Monitor and manage performance

through KPIs, forecasts, and business reviews; share insights and improvement initiatives with customers and internal stakeholders

Collaborate across teams

– Operations, Finance, Pricing, and Commercial Management – to ensure service excellence and seamless coordination

Contribute to strategic development and continuous improvement

, delivering customer insights that strengthen Unifeeder’s market position and customer experience



Who are you?





You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration or related field, and are an

experienced and confident commercial professional

with solid background in the

container shipping industry

.



You bring a strategic mindset combined with operational understanding of vessel networks, cargo flows, vessel scheduling, and market dynamics.


Furthermore, we expect you to bring:




10+ years’ experience

in container shipping, feeder operations, or liner trade management Sound knowledge of

feeder services and transshipment logistics

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Fluency in

English and preferably German

(spoken and written) Proficiency in

MS Office and CRM systems

(e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) A collaborative mindset mixed with independence, proactivity, and a drive to solve customer problems and deliver results
