Position contingent upon contract award

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Junior VOIP / VTC Engineering Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Essential Job Duties

Assist in the design and configuration of voice, video, and data communications systems. Support the installation and basic maintenance of VOIP/VTC equipment. Help with the operation and maintenance of IT communication services. Perform basic installation, troubleshooting, and replacement of VOIP and secure voice end-user devices under supervision. Accompany senior staff on site surveys to learn issue resolution.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2+ years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience. An active in scope Secret security clearance. DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 411 Certs: A+ or Network+ or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs.

Work Environment

Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations. Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700 May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
