A leading public transport organization in Germany is seeking an

IT Project Coordinator

to support the implementation and coordination of a core ticketing solution known as

(((etiCORE)))

, based on the

VDV core application (VDV-KA)

standard.
This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in electronic fare management systems and project coordination in a regulated or public sector environment. You will serve as the key interface between internal departments, software vendors, and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor IT projects related to the implementation and evolution of the

VDV-KA (((etiCORE)))

system Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and progress tracking Manage project documentation, milestones, and reporting Communicate effectively with international partners and technical providers Ensure compliance with standards, deadlines, and project scope What we are looking for:

A university degree in IT, Business Informatics, or equivalent technical training Solid experience working with

VDV-KA

systems (minimum version 1.x) Fluency in

German

(C1/native level) Strong

English

communication skills (written and spoken) Experience managing or coordinating IT projects, preferably in the public transport or mobility sector Familiarity with

VDV-KA version 3.x
