We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

IT Manager

to join our team at Benko Digital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT operations, ensuring the security of our IT systems, and implementing technology solutions that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

IT Support and Maintenance:

Provide expert IT support to all employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly across our offices in Malta, Spain & Cyprus. (Travelling from time to time will be required).
Oversee the maintenance of IT systems, ensuring all hardware and software are up-to-date and functioning optimally. Manage and support the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure the efficient operation of IT services and infrastructure through proactive maintenance and monitoring. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations. Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Network Setup and Management:

Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to support business operations. Set up and configure LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and other network segments. Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performance and uptime.

Cybersecurity:

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard organizational data and systems. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks. Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, including malware infections, data breaches, and unauthorized access. Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and best practices. Train and educate employees on cybersecurity best practices. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in IT and cybersecurity

Is it YOU we're looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. Proven experience in network setup, configuration, and management. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices. Experience with security frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or similar are highly desirable.
