Your responsibilities and functions

Operate and further develop our server and network infrastructure (on-premise & hybrid cloud) Administration and monitor Proxmox, Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows and Linux servers Administration Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Endpoint Central Participate in security, network, and cloud projects Support and optimize our firewall environments (Securepoint, OpnSense) Implement security policies and introduce best practices for network, firewall, WAF, TLS, and Vault Collaborate in 2nd and 3rd level support for infrastructure topics Create technical documentation and support process automation Manage backup, cleanup, and decommissioning processes, and administer internal and external certificates Work with development teams to optimize monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting to ensure system transparency and performance Support the administration of databases (MS SQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis)

Your qualifications and competences

Completed education or degree in IT, computer science, or a related field Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and cloud environments Strong knowledge of virtualization (Proxmox, Hyper-V), Windows/Linux servers, and directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID) Experience with firewall solutions (Securepoint, OpnSense), network components (Cisco, Aruba, Unifi), and security best practices Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, as well as process automation Knowledge of database administration (MS SQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis) is a plus Team player with strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial
