Vaccine Generation Research-Grade Production and Release

We are looking for a highly motivated intern or trainee to support the production, release, and characterization of viral vector vaccine candidates within our research department.



Please note that this role focuses on practical laboratory training rather than thesis work. It is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who would like to build industry-relevant laboratory experience alongside their studies or after graduation.

In this position, you will support our mission by:Performing cell culture of adherent and suspension cell lines used in the production and/or release of viral vectors Preparing fresh cultures of primary chicken embryo fibroblasts (CEFs) Supporting the production and release of viral vector vaccine candidates in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) Participating in general laboratory maintenance and organizational tasks Documenting procedures and results in English in line with established quality standards

For this role, we are looking for someone who:Is currently enrolled in, or has recently graduated from, a laboratory technician vocational program (e.g. BTA, MTA, CTA, Ausbildung) or a life-science-related Bachelor’s or Master’s program Works in a structured and well-organized manner, follows SOPs, and pays close attention to detail Learns quickly and is eager to gain in-depth, hands-on experience with standard virology techniques, as well as cell culture and molecular biology methods in an industry environment Has prior experience with cell culture or molecular biology techniques (an advantage, but not a requirement) Has good documentation and communication skills in English and German Is a team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
