We are currently offering an internship for our growing Public Affairs team located in Arnsberg-Müschede and Brussels (in central location in the European quarter) together with flexible working arrangements for the following (somewhat flexible) period:

- January 2026 till June 2026

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

Coordinating the day-to-day operations of WEPA’s Public Affairs Attending meetings and drafting reports Monitoring, analysing and reporting on public policy Supporting the creation of WEPA´s Public Affairs profile as well as the implementation of Public Affairs objectives Carrying out external Public Relation activities Participating in relevant events on behalf of WEPA Supporting with management tools the work on a number of projects that resulted from Public Affairs

Your Profile:

Personality:

Good intercultural and interpersonal skills, motivation, organizational skills, strong communication, pro-active self-starter mentality

Working:

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team, highly self-responsible, driven and structured approach to fulfilling tasks and own projects, solution-oriented mindset, ability to multi-task and work under deadlines

Experience & Know-how:

First professional experience in the field of Public Affairs will be an asset, good knowledge of political institutions and the policy-making process, ability to understand and summarize public policy information and to identify key issues, drafting and writing

Qualifications:

University-level education, preferably in a related field (e.g. in politics, law, economics or management)

Languages:

Good skills in written and spoken German and English

Other:

Good MS Office skills
