INTERNSHIP AT INMACHINES
InMachines Ingrassia GmbH is a young and international company focused on designing and producing open-source digital fabrication machines, such as 3D Printers, Laser Cutters, CNC Routers, and others. Located in Schwarzenbek, in the surrounding area of Hamburg, InMachines is currently involved in a research project in cooperation with Fab City Hamburg, amongst other international projects. The workshop has 400m², with a wide range of machines and tools to build and produce prototypes and machine parts. You will be part of a team of 7 with skills ranging from engineering to design.
Are you ready to build machines with us?
Your tasks will be to assist our team with:
? Production including post-processing
? Machine kit preparation
? Machine assembly
? Machine testing
? 3D modeling
? Organization of materials and tools
? Management of the inventory
? Documentation
? Building workshops
Your skills:
? Student of either engineering or design
? Good hand working skills
? Good spoken and written English
? Flexibility, open-mindedness, and the desire to learn
? Be proactive and motivated
? Team-oriented and at the same time independent
? Prior experience with the following is preferred:
Assembly of mechanical parts Knowledge and usage of digital fabrication machines Electronics soldering and debugging 3D modelling Fab Lab Prototyping
