What we do

Pina Earth enables forest owners to access carbon markets the easy way. We build software that automatically assesses forests and simulates its future development to allow us to quantify carbon stock changes over time. Forest owners can store additional carbon in their forests by adopting sustainable forest management practices. Each additional ton of carbon stored generates a "carbon credit". By investing in forest carbon projects, companies contribute to climate protection. Through the sale of carbon credits, forest owners benefit from a recurring income that is reinvested to create diverse, climate-resilient forests.



Pina Earth is a fast-growing climate tech startup operating in Europe, based in Munich, Dornbirn, Austria, and with two subsidiaries in Berlin and Winterthur, Switzerland. Our Pina Earth team consists of approximately 30 employees.

About the opportunity

As an

Entrepreneur in Residence intern

, you will have the opportunity to get a comprehensive insight into different areas of our startup and take over

strategic projects as well as operational tasks

. This is a great opportunity to get to know a startup from different angles and

directly work with our leadership team

in their day-to-day business. This role includes a variety of topics, for example:

Sales and marketing:

You work on our growth strategy, improve our existing sales pipeline or talk to interested companies and convert them to new leads.

Work on our product strategy

: You explore new products and features together with our customers, e.g. carbon credit buyers.

Help manage various operational tasks

to keep the business running and grow the organization.

Research of relevant topics:

You conduct detailed analyses of market developments and other strategic questions to support our decision-making.

Represent Pina:

You support the founders in communicating Pina Earth's vision to internal and external stakeholders, e.g. on LinkedIn or events.
