Your Role

As an intern in Infineon’s

Application Framework department

, you will work closely with our team and engage with stakeholders from across the organization. This position offers you an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the realm of data science and ML which will actively contribute to the business success of Infineon. You will develop valuable skills in data science and machine learning while collaborating in an international environment



Key responsibilities in your new role

System Development

: Assist in recommender system development, while testing and actively contribute to further enhancement

Model documentation:

Produce clear and reproducible model documentation for clearer data analysis

KPI tracking

: Perform KPI definition and E2E implementation via dedicated dashboards, gaining hands-on experience on the matter

Critical Support

: Support on various topics when requested, based on the requirements and needs of the team

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Study Field

: Enrolled in a Master’s program of Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar

Data Analysis skills

: Strong proficiency in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning, paired with an understanding of recommender system techniques (Graph based methods, embedding learning, collaborative filtering)

Previous Experience

: Experience with Deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), relational databases and graph databases (SQL) and Tableau. Affinity for GNN Libraries is a strong plus

Way of working:

Independent, proactive and business-impact-oriented way of working, with a team-focused openness and empathy, to ensure high-quality outcomes

Interests:

Enthusiasm for Machine Learning, data structures, algorithms, probability/statistics, as well as analytical thinking to interpret data and provide insights

Language Skills

: Fluency in English. German is a big plus
