The Requirements:
For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be
enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union
. Furthermore, you need
a valid visa
and an
unrestricted permit to work
in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Your Mission:
As an intern, you will work on real projects that make a difference within our Product department. You’ll support the Cross Carline Connected Car team in various core tasks, including competitor analysis, market briefings, and daily operational support, all in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your tasks:
Market research competitor analysis
Conduct research on the field of Telematics, Connected Services, Features on Demand.
Comparing and gathering information about the entire HMI (Human Machine Interface) in the car: Screens, Cluster, Head-up Displays, buttons, etc.
Search proactively for potential business partners, suppliers across Europe.
Support in creating our internal newsletter with latest industry news and announcements.
Feature development
Analyze existing market and consumer studies about connectivity and create comprehensive overviews.
Seek for new trends in the connectivity area and create short reports.
Support the development and the proposal of new connected features.
Monitor product performance using key metrics and gather customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Project Coordination
Planning and organizing internal test drives with competitor cars / vans.
Conduct surveys, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports.
Your talents:
Education:
Bachelor or Master student in a business or engineering related field, automotive area as advantage but not a must.
Ideally you already have experience from previous internships in automotive companies, consulting or start-ups.
Skills:
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with tools like Java, Confluence, Jira, and Tableau.
Strong analytical skills with a passion for product discovery and delivery.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while being a team player.
Interest in cars, digitalization, and connectivity.
Capability to work within a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and result-oriented organization.
Driving license (class B, eligibility to drive in Germany).
