AbbVie Germany includes the three major functions of Commercial Operations, Research and Development, Operations. In this position, the strategic HR business partner for leaders in the assigned area and report to the HR Director of the function.
Position Description
Strategic HR Business Partner for managers within the R&D function, this includes partnering with the business with the aim of finding a common solution, specifically focused on organizational effectiveness, talent management and development, retention, change management, and culture enhancement initiatives
Advising the departments on topics of managerial and employee development also using assessment tools (e.g. 360° feedback), employee retention and team building in cooperation with the Talent Manager and the management team
Implementation of the annual Talent Review process within the framework of global guidelines and coordination, ensuring action plan for talent and succession planning for key positions
Proactive establish and track key performance indicators on talent and performance management
Management of the annual performance assessment process (e.g. through calibration meetings) and the annual rewards planning process
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to fill key positions and build/maintain an internal and external talent pipeline for critical roles
Lead small and large-scale reorganizations, support of managers in the implementation of organizational changes
Partner with business leaders to manage performance
Partner with the business in the development and implementation of incentive plans
Lead and/or participate in local and global HR projects
Close collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence such as Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations
Respect the rights of the works council in day-to-day personnel work as well as trusting cooperation with the works council on current issues relating to individual measures, organizational changes and projects
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or a related and applicable area
At least 5 years of professional experience in HR, preferably in a multinational, matrix environment
Strong knowledge of labour law, collective agreement of the chemical industry, basic social security and tax law knowledge desirable
Strong ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written
Experience in driving large scale projects, change management, and HR transformation
