We are seeking an experienced

Head of Supply Chain Security

to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security standards across our warehouse and transportation operations (internal and external). This role ensures the integrity of our supply chain by proactively identifying fraud / theft risks, enforcing compliance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to uphold best-in-class security practices.



Key Responsibilities:



Security Strategy & Standards



Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures for warehouse and transport operations Align security protocols with international standards (e.g. TAPA, ISO 28000, C-TPAT) and regulatory requirements Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across logistics sites, processes and transport routes
Shape and lead security initiatives across diverse logistics environments


Operational Control



Monitor and audit warehouse and transport activities to ensure adherence to security standards Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, or losses, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams to ensure secure handling, storage, and movement of goods


Technology & Infrastructure



Evaluate and recommend security technologies (e.g. surveillance systems, access control, GPS tracking) Oversee implementation of physical and digital security measures across logistics facilities
Ensure cybersecurity protocols are integrated into logistics systems where applicable


Training & Awareness



Design and deliver security training programs for warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics partners
Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance throughout the supply chain


Compliance & Reporting



Maintain documentation and reporting for audits, incidents, and compliance reviews Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries from regulatory bodies and partners
Track KPIs related to logistics security and present findings to senior leadership


Qualifications:



8+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain security, with at least 3 years in a senior role Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation networks, and global security standards Experience working with 3PLs and international logistics providers Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree not necessary, but preferable Certifications such as TAPA FSR/TSR, CPP (ASIS), or ISO 28000 are a plus Good English skills (C1) is a must, German Skills (B2) not essential but welcomed Flexibility to travel between company locations as required
