About the role
As the Head of HR for EMEA & APAC, you will lead the Corporate HRBP and HR Operations team, managing 11 direct reports and acting as the functional manager for the international matrix HR organization. You will drive HR initiatives in close collaboration with the HR and business leaders, ensuring operational excellence and consistent execution across diverse markets.



This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring a seasoned HR executive with deep international experience, strong coaching capabilities, and the ability to connect with people, build relationships and navigate through a complex environment.

What You Will Do
Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, inspire, and develop the Corporate HR team across EMEA & APAC; adjusting this organization if required Act as a functional manager for the regional HR organization, setting direction, standards, and expectations. Coach and mentor HR Business Partners and senior leaders to elevate leadership capabilities and embed a coaching culture. Data driven decision making, e.g. through business case development

Strategic HR PartnershipCollaborate closely with the HR leadership team and business leaders to co-create and implement a global HR strategy and related initiatives. Ensure operational execution of strategic HR initiatives across EMEA & APAC. Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across all levels and regions, including C-level executives. Act as a strategic advisor to regional leadership teams, influencing business decisions through people insights.

Transformation & ChangeDesign and implement transformation, restructuring, and change initiatives across both regions. Lead organizational development efforts, including culture shaping, change enablement, and leadership alignment. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR processes, systems, and service delivery.

Talent, Development & CulturePartner closely with the Talent & Development team to drive succession planning, leadership development, and capability building across EMEA & APAC. Act as a role model and advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), actively supporting a culture of belonging and psychological safety. Promote a growth mindset and foster a continuous learning culture that empowers individuals and teams to thrive. Ensure that development initiatives are aligned with business strategy and tailored to regional needs, while maintaining consistency with global standards.

Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations across all jurisdictions. Manage complex employee relations cases and support M&A activities including due diligence and integration.


What You’ll Need to Succeed
Must-HavesExtensive leadership experience of minimum 10years of HR leadership experience in international HR environments, ideally across EMEA and/or APAC. Demonstrated success in leading transformation, restructuring, and change management programs. Strong leadership presence with proven communication, coaching and mentoring capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including C-level engagement. High resilience and agility in navigating complex, fast-paced environments. Solid experience as a strategic HR Business Partner. Fluent English and German skills; additional languages are an asset.

Nice to HaveExperience with HR digitalization, e.g. HRIS roll-out and user engagement (e.g. Workday), digital processes, and data-driven HR practices. Intercultural competence and experience working in global matrix organizations.
