Job Highlights

Disciplinary & functional leadership of the Customs Import department, with responsibility for operational customs clearance as well as preference management, tariff classification, and special customs procedures such as inward/outward processing
Further development of relevant processes & participation in global corporate projects
Consulting & support for business units on matters of fundamental customs law relevance
Responsibility for the legal assessment of complex cases within the framework of customs regulations
Development of future approaches for AI support in the customs domain & the use of new customs procedures, e.g. Centralized Clearance for Imports
Requirements
----------------
Successfully completed degree in economics, law or business administration; alternatively relevant professional experience in the field of customs
Many years of professional experience & expert knowledge in customs matters
Strong project management skills & experience in leading projects in the field of customs & foreign trade
Project experience with SAP & SAP GTS as well as solid knowledge of logistics processes
Excellent knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, GTS)
Strong communication skills, especially in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Fluent in German & English, both written and spoken
