Develop and execute the market entry and growth strategy for UK
Identify and prioritize target customer segments in retail, hospitality, and food industry suppliers
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and partners
Adapt product positioning, messaging, and campaigns to the local market context
Prepare and negotiate cooperation agreements with relevant organizations and networks
Conduct sales meetings with prospective customers, from initial outreach to contract closure
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Tech, Marketing, Sales, Analytics), to align on go-to-market initiatives and take charge of implementing them locally
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
Track and report on performance metrics, adjusting strategy as needed

Your profile
Proven track record in go-to-market strategy, business development, or market entry roles, ideally within SaaS, food tech, or sustainability sectors
Strong knowledge of the food industry landscape in the UK, including food retail and food service players
Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced start-up environment
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships
Native English speaker and deep understanding of the cultural characteristics of British culture
Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking
Passion for sustainability and reducing food waste

About us
We are a tech start-up from Cologne that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce food waste along the supply chain. Our AI analyzes historical sales data from a wide range of sectors - from bakeries to supermarkets and restaurants - and combines this with external influencing factors such as weather, public holidays and special location features. This results in precise, up-to-date forecasts for production and orders, which can be integrated fully automatically into existing systems. This not only makes planning more efficient, but also optimizes the use of goods - so that less food ends up in the garbage can.
