Engage with customers as the key representative for the business
Be a credible senior business partner to our customer base
Listen to the customer voice, and be able to translate and communicate this back to the business as tangible and actionable deliverables to drive profitable growth
Define and communicate brand and product Value Proposition
Responsible for development and execution of Business Models globally to promote and attain growth objectives
Define product line pricing, lead time, reasonable order quantity and profitability
Own the development and execution of Manufacturing Models to support Business Model and profitability targets
Establish new and develop current regional product sourcing strategy
Develops, in partnership with key Sales stakeholders, appropriate product channel strategy and defines preferred sales channels
Execution
Define sales target opportunities by application and geography, and supports these with product and “how to win” sales tools
Deliver sales targets in line with planned business commitments; deliver both profit and sales growth
Ensure training for both internal and external employees and channels; empower the wider team to deliver for our customers by providing them with a world-class toolkit on our products
Responsible for development and implementation of regional product demand review summary, including accuracy levels for SIOP and establishing inventory stocking level strategies by region.
Interfaces with sales leadership (Director, Regional or Account), channels and customers to determine:
Annual sales plan (targets) for regions by Project and MRO
Key Account Management support
Projects and prospects, and pursue projects
Technical
Product application, technical and service support
Assist customer service teams in contract review and quote generation for respective products.
Provide guidance and approval for “major” customer change orders
Assists Industry Vertical Manager to develop:
Application / segment information for respective products.
Product application training material
Marketing
Assist Marketing Manager and/or Director, MARCOM in:
Creating brand/product communication/promotion plan;
Funnelling leads;
Establishing and managing marketing expense budgets;
Selection, approval and execution of exhibitions
Develop Brochures and technical documentation

Set an inspirational vision for the wider business team and all direct reports
Manage own team – set clear stretch goals and drive high performance in execution of clear, deliverable goals
Take a strategic viewpoint on team development. Identify team growth opportunities, and implement a strategic plan to develop people for future growth
