What you will do:







Lead and manage strategic commercial initiatives with multinational companies, expanding EDP’s global footprint by co-developing tailored renewable energy solutions that align with the Group’s strategic priorities and reinforce its position as a key partner in the global energy transition


Responsibilities:




Lead the identification, development and cultivation of strategic partnerships with german multinational companies, positioning EDP as a trusted long-term collaborator in their global energy transition journey, orchestrating the efforts of different EDP geographies to ensure cohesive, aligned and high impact engagement with each partner

Create and deliver C- level compelling propositions as basis for strategic energy transition-oriented decisions.

Support the development of segmentation proposals, targeting, and strategic positioning within the scope of EDP solutions in various countries, prioritizing initiatives based on pain points, value creation potential, and customers’ priorities

Ensure Executional Excellence in Germany by bringing hands-on experience in delivering energy solutions (e.g. Solar PV, BESS, EV…) projects for C&I clients in Germany, understanding project lifecycle risks, and proactively addressing permitting, construction, interconnection, and delivery bottlenecks to accelerate COD timelines.

Leverage subsidies & incentives by actively guiding the identification and application of German incentives that enhance project viability and financial outcomes

Navigate Regulatory Frameworks by providing insights into local regulatory requirements and building effective relationships with relevant authorities and grid operators to streamline development and implementation efforts.

Support EDP Client Solutions Management team on key decision-making exercises concerning business growth and profitability, from strategic challenging & design to implementation & execution on the key group priorities.



What we are looking for:




Experience between 2 and 6 years in projects with high strategic relevance and complex c-level stakeholder management (Energy consulting, Energy procurement or corporate sustainability teams in large multinational companies or Strategy & Transformation teams).

Demonstrated project delivery experience in energy solutions for Commercial & Industrial clients in Germany, including knowledge of typical execution challenges and mitigation strategies.

Experience navigating the German regulatory landscape, including interactions with grid operators and permitting authorities, as well as applying for and securing public subsidies and incentives to enhance project viability will be considered a strong plus.

Strong executive presence and presentation / facilitation skills, comfortable collaborating with and presenting to C-suite executives, including poised, confident objection handling abilities

Curiosity, entrepreneurial self-starter with high level of self-initiative, and comfortable in working in dynamic, matrixed environments, coordinating across diverse geographies and internal teams.

Ability to thrive in a fast-growing and demanding environment.

Fluency in English and German. Fluency in an additional EDP language is highly preferred (French, Italian, Polish, Chinese, Portuguese or Spanish.)

Degree or Master's degree in Business & Management, Engineering, Economics.
