We are looking for you to join our team in the

Accounting

Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a

GL Accountant (f/m/d)

as soon as possible.

The position is temporary for two years as a parental leave cover.

Your role in the Wolfpack:

Posting of bank statements and reconciliation of clearing accounts Posting of accruals Posting and reconciliation of retail business transactions Preparation of account reconciliations and account clarifications Reconciliation and monitoring of interface data from subledgers Performing intercompany reconciliations Calculation and posting of prepaid expenses and accrued items Supporting monthly and annual financial statement preparation Participation in process optimization projects Contribution to finance-related projects

What you bring:

Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA Strong knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is an advantage Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel Excellent English skills (written and verbal) Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and quick process understanding Willingness to learn and adapt to new topics Experience in finance-related projects Independent, structured and reliable working style High level of commitment, initiative, communication skills and teamwork ability
