About the position:

Optibus is looking for an exceptional Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform R&D team in the challenge of moving the world smarter and more efficiently. We are looking for an experienced professional with superb interpersonal skills, a software engineering background, and the production experience of building web apps at scale.


As a Developer on the Platform Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the user-experience and developer experience of our company's products and services by delivering sophisticated cross-module features and architectural solutions.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the team lead, product manager and designer in a cross-functional team currently consisting of 4 developers and a QA engineer, as well as closely collaborating with other teams in the R&D department across the organization Leading and being involved in key decisions regarding architecture, roadmap, technology and UX Take part in all aspects of the development cycle Help shape the R&D department’s technical direction, best practices, product ideas, and team processes


Requirements:


4+ years of full-stack development Experience with server-side development (such as Node.js) Experience with HTML, CSS, and client-side development frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular) Deep understanding of web application architecture Experience with relational databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL) Eagerness to learn, desire to mentor other team members Fluent written and verbal English skills

It will be great if you have:

Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes Experience with GitHub Actions Experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker Experience with AWS tools such as Elasticsearch, S3, Cognito, Lambda, Cloudformation or similar alternative solutions Experience in the mobility ecosystem
