\n eToro, the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest social investment network, is looking for a Finance Manager for eToro Germany GmbH, our Frankfurt based subsidiary. We are the crypto custodian for eToro\xe2\x80\x99s Germany based clients and have applied locally for a custody and trading licence for crypto assets. We are supervised by \xe2\x80\x98Bundesamt f\xc3\xbcr Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht\xe2\x80\x99 (BaFin) and \xe2\x80\x98Deutsche Bundesbank\xe2\x80\x99. Currently, we are operating under the licence of CySec.

The role will be responsible for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial affairs. It will suit someone very hands-on who thrives in a start-up environment.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities will include accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company\xe2\x80\x99s daily financial affairs. This will include:

• Directing financial planning and strategy
• Managing bookkeeping domestically in cooperation with other eToro entities in Europe
• Analysing and reporting on financial performance
• Overseeing and managing domestic payroll, accounting and tax functions
• Developing and implementing accounting policies.
• Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
• Reviewing departmental budgets.
• Assessing, managing, and minimising risk for liquidity plannings
• Analysing complex financial data
• Managing internal controls for finance & accounting
• Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
• Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
• Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standard
• Creation of Business Cases and Business Models on Demand for German entity
• Creating continuous reports with respect to Liquidity and Trade Execution
• Creation of Annual Financial Statements & Mgmt Reports
• Creation and Ownership ICAAP-, RechKredV-, and annual statements
• Communication with BaFin, Bundesbank and other competent authorities

• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excel and modelling
• Creating statutory accounts
• Experience of AP and AR
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Budgeting experience
• Fluent in both German and English

Desirable

• Financial services background and investment knowledge including an understanding of crypto, finance and investment related terminologies and trends
