As a Expansion Project Manager, you will lead the development of a brand-new production facility that will deliver next-generation, sustainable ingredients to the global market. You will lead the execution of a plant expansion project, translating lab-scale processes into industrial-scale production while ensuring technical, safety, and regulatory standards are met.

A Taste of What to Expect

Lead plant expansion projects from concept to execution over a two-year period Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors, including procurement and contract administration Oversee engineering design and process scale-up, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with safety and quality standards Cooperate with the R&D team to translate lab-scale processes into industrial-scale solutions and support plant design, commissioning, and validation Ensure regulatory and HSE compliance across all project phases, including conducting safety reviews and risk assessments Review and approve technical documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer from R&D to operations and enabling scalable, efficient production

The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience

You bring 3+ years of hands-on project management experience, ideally in the production or project-based environment You hold a degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field You combine technical knowledge with a hands-on mentality You keep projects on track, with experience in contract management, documentation, and project controls You're flexible, collaborative, and thrive in fast-changing environments with cross-functional teams You’re open to traveling as part of the role between Munich and Dormagen Excellent command of English, both written and verbal. German language skills are an advantage
