Job Description
We are seeking experienced freelance translators for ?
German-English (DE-EN) and English-German (EN-DE)?
? projects across diverse domains. Your primary responsibilities will include:?
Domain-Specific Translation
: ?Mechanical/Energy
: Technical manuals, engineering reports, renewable energy documentation.Pharmaceuticals/Patents
: Clinical trial reports, patent filings (EPO/DPMA standards), medical device documentation. ?Gaming
: Localization of game content, UI text, and marketing materials.General
: Business communications, legal contracts, and marketing content. ?Quality & Compliance
: Ensure accuracy, terminology consistency, and adherence to client-specific style guides. Revise translations based on feedback and meet project deadlines?Requirements?
Minimum ?2 years? of DE-EN/EN-DE translation experience in specified fields (patent, medical, or technical translation preferred)
Proficiency in CAT tools (Trados Studio, MemoQ, or Wordfast); familiarity with QA tools (e.g., Xbench).
Native German speaker with ?C1/C2 English proficiency?.
Reliable internet access, responsiveness to project deadlines, and commitment to confidentiality
