Your mission

We're looking for a highly committed Engineering Lead (f/m/d) to lead the technical vision and execution of our B2B SaaS Learning Experience Platform (LXP). You’ll drive strategy, architecture, and team leadership while staying close to the code. This is a key role at the intersection of product, engineering, and business - ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Define and evolve our platform’s technical strategy

for scale, performance, and long-term maintainability

Lead a small, high-performing development team

- fostering ownership, technical excellence, and strong collaboration toward successfully delivery

Act as a bridge

between management, product, and engineering, align technical vision and execution with company OKRs and business goals

Lead customer-facing projects

, including technical consulting, platform demos (pre-sales & implementation), and translating customer needs into scalable solutions

Maintain high standards in software architecture,

engineering quality, and foster a high-ownership culture

Stay hands-on with a modern tech stack

: TypeScript, NestJS, Angular, Tailwind, MongoDB, Contentful, Azure, Heroku, and more

Ensure security, compliance, and data protection

such as GDPR, ISO 27001/9001, AZAV, TISAX

Collaborate with external partners

such as contractors, and service providers

Own documentation, knowledge transfer

by ensuring continuity in tools, infrastructure and platform innovation

Your profile

Strategic understanding of software architecture

and experience designing scalable, modern SaaS platforms using state-of-the-art technologies

Strong ability to

present technical solutions to customers

and collaboratively develop them based on real user needs and business goals

Excellent communication skills

to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partners

Proven track record as a

technical project manager or tech lead

, successfully guiding cross-functional development teams

A

leadership style built on respect and trust

- providing clear guidance while empowering your team

Hands-on experience with modern web technologies

like TypeScript, NestJS, Angular, Tailwind, MongoDB, Azure, and related tools

Fluent in English and German

, both spoken and written - confident in leading discussions, documentation, and customer interactions in both languages A

university degree in engineering

(or a related field) is a plus - but what matters most is your
