– if you possess a degree in economics, engineering, chemistry, or comparable professional training and bring extensive experience in procurement in a manufacturing company – ideally in the chemical industry –, in projects in procurement and supply chain in a consulting company, or in international supplier and risk management, we warmly invite you to apply. Familiarity with supplier development and qualification procedures Excellent organizational awareness and a service and stakeholder orientation Strong process understanding and the ability to implement compliance and risk measures in procurement Compelling communication skills at different hierarchical levels A good understanding of compliance-driven procurement and risk management as well as procurement-related regulatory frameworks (e.g., CS3D, LkSG, ESG risk criteria) is a plus Dexterity in SAP and SRM tools (Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba, etc.) is advantageous

– as Employee Procurement Excellence, you will organize the ALTANA-wide cross-divisional target-setting process, implement the ALTANA-wide KPI development and reporting of performance measurement and controlling, and manage and support cross-divisional value creation programs with a stronger focus on supplier management, all within procurement. Your further tasks and duties include:


Realizing cross-functional workshops for developing alternative suppliers, optimizing supplier structures, improving supplier performance and enhancing supplier resilience as well as risk mitigation strategies Advancing systems for tracking the execution of procurement measures, including supplier regulatory compliance and supplier performance Establishing supplier risk monitoring in the areas of sustainability, compliance, financial stability, supply chain disruption, and geopolitical risks Evolving and installing ALTANA-wide supplier management processes in the department (scouting, onboarding, qualification, development, performance, etc.) with a special focus on regulatory frameworks (e.g., CS3D, LkSG) and supply chain due diligence Conceiving and organizing procurement conferences, particularly on topics such as regulatory changes, risk management, and supplier performance
