Design, prototype, and validate HV battery management PCBAs and electronics for Tesla vehicles and energy storage systems
Conduct hands-on failure analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to ensure long-term field reliability.
Develop automated validation setups and test software to reduce test time and maximize coverage
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, test, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to optimize for DFM/DFA, cost, and scalability
Partner with leading semiconductor and IC suppliers to integrate cutting-edge technologies into Tesla’s next-gen BMS and electronics platforms.
Support high-volume manufacturing, commissioning, and field studies with design expertise and continuous improvement efforts
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Experience with analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, and component selection
Understanding of serial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, RS-485, USB, etc.).
Knowledge of key analog components (MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, gate drivers, etc.)
Familiarity with manufacturing concepts (DFM/DFA), QC processes, and product/tool release workflows.
Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
