Tesla is seeking an organized and proactive EHS Qualification and Management System Specialist to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Team at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our EHS training programs and supporting the continuous improvement of Tesla’s Environmental Management System (EMAS) in alignment with European environmental standards.



Reporting to the EHS Leadership, you will be responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and managing a wide range of EHS training formats, serving as the first point of contact for inquiries regarding training schedules and content. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the smooth delivery of training programs and concepts, oversee participant management through Tesla’s Learning Management System, and maintain accurate records and reporting.



In addition to training coordination, you will actively contribute to the development, implementation, and operational control of EMAS-related processes, monitor key performance indicators, and support environmental due diligence activities. Your work will directly support Tesla’s commitment to sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence.



This position is located in Grünheide, Germany, directly in the Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg.

What You'll Do

Independent planning and organization of various training concepts for the Environment, Health, and Safety department at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg Initial contact for development of EHS training programs and concepts Monitoring and maintenance of training participation and execution management in our Learning Management System including active KPI tracking based on defined training programs Creation of information materials for learners and training managers Actively support the continuous improvement of the EMAS Management System in alignment with environmental standards. Analysis, optimization, and documentation of environmentally relevant processes, taking into account the respective objectives and requirements Identification, analysis, and interpretation of environmental aspects to assess and classify risks, evaluate compliance with regulations for existing, new, or modified installations or processes, and select suitable controls for risk reduction Close collaboration with environmental officers, EHS specialists and cross-departmental and interdisciplinary coordination

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related EHS discipline or equivalent qualification or experience in Training & Qualification or Management Systems Professional experience >3 years of experience in related fields Qualified and certified Environmental Management Representative or additional certifications such as Environmental Management Auditor (ISO 14001) are advantageous. Strong technical knowledge and ability to implement and comply with national regulations in a large production environment. Quick grasp and ability to familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility Team player with a strong sense of service, quality, and responsibility Basic knowledge of learning management systems is an advantage Independent, structured, and organized working style Strong communication skills Professional in German and English skills in speaking and writing Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
