Job Description

This is a multisite role responsible for managing and implementing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems at Sensient Food Colors’ manufacturing facilities in Germany. The position also provides support to additional European locations and requires travel, particularly to Italy.

What you’ll do:

Develop, maintain, and implement practices and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and Sensient Corporate policies Implement an effective EHS communications framework on site and ensure EHS training is delivered efficiently Identify and close EHS compliance gaps by performing root cause investigations of EHS incidents and report internal and externally Prepare written reports and KPI's on EHS performance and work with plant managers to develop EHS budget Manage an application for environmental permits and perform job safety assessments and hazops Co-ordinate completion of environmental reporting requirements with Health and Safety at work regulations

What you’ll bring:

Preferably a degree in Engineering, Chemistry,Environmental or related technical training Ability to work with computer programs and systems for reporting, record keeping, regulation access German Fachkraft für Arbeistsicherheit , preferably Fachkundemodull BG-RCI certifications Fluency in German and, English (spoken and written), Italian language skills are big plus Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations, Control of chemical hazardous substances, and LOTO, Confined space, ATEX
