We have an opportunity for a

Document Controller

on a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany

.

This role is vital to supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced construction site environment, ensuring the effective management and control of all project documentation in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards and the Integrated Management System (IMS). Distribute and track documents to ensure that all relevant stakeholders receive and have access to the latest versions of project documentation (including drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and reports). Maintain and update project registers such as the document register, RFI register, action log, and issue log. Analyse and summarise data from various project logs, highlighting outstanding actions or overdue items. Generate regular reports to support project tracking, including document status updates and overdue reports. Ensure accurate storage and version control of documents in compliance with project document control procedures. Liaise with external consultants and contractors to ensure their documentation complies with project standards. Support Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health & Safety (HSE) initiatives by assisting with audits and ensuring document-related compliance.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar site-based role High level of verbal and written English is essential Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills High level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous
