You support our team as
DIRECTOR PROCESS TECHNOLOGIES – PLEATING (F/M/D)
Responsibilities


You lead the global development and optimization of Pleating technologies, ensuring efficient, lean and quality- as well as HSE-compliant production processes. You drive international process development projects, standardization, engineering changes, and global rollouts. You shape the Technology Roadmap, manage CAPEX, select and qualify suppliers, and implement cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. You provide leadership to local process engineers, developing technical expertise and fostering talent worldwide. You coordinate the global Subject Matter Expert Platform, promoting knowledge exchange and best practices. You support plants with operational challenges and efficiency initiatives, including digitalization and smart automation. You identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies to maintain Freudenberg’s technological edge. Qualifications


University degree in Mechanical, Process, Textile Engineering or comparable; technical apprenticeship is a plus. Strong hands-on experience in Pleating technologies with a track record of leading international projects. Practical operations experience in filter components or comparable manufacturing environments. Profound technical expertise, ability to create requirement specifications, and structured project management skills. Experience in digitalization, Industry 4.0, or AI. Hands-on, results-oriented, and pragmatic with deep awareness of quality and HSE requirements to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Excellent intercultural communication skills in English to work with international, cross-functional teams, and willingness to travel and work abroad.
