You will carry out and/or respond to RFPs and national tendering procedures for power purchase agreements, answer related questions and prepare relevant documents
You will be responsible for negotiating all commercial aspects of power purchase agreements for individual projects or portfolios from our solar PV and BESS pipeline in Germany, Poland and Italy
You will work together with colleagues from the development, finance & legal teams and ensure that the power purchase agreements are financially viable
You will analyze developments on the electricity markets and monitor prices and regulation
Establish contract compliance and energy risk management system for secured power purchase agreements
Establish and maintain a network of potential offtakers. Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations to understand their energy demands
You will report to the Global Head of Project Development and support the development and execution of our European power purchase procurement strategy. Additionally, you will regularly present your individual negotiation results to internal stakeholders in order to prepare business decisions
What you bring to the table
You have a degree in economics, engineering, energy management or a comparable qualification
You have at least 5 years of experience in energy procurement, electricity trading or a related consulting industry
You have an in-depth understanding of energy markets, stakeholders and regulatory frameworks
You have existing networks with customers from industry, utilities and energy traders
You are able to think holistically and act entrepreneurially
You have very good communication skills and a confident manner
You are a team player
Very good English skills are required. German, Italian or Polish are optional
