Corporate Transformation Services (CTS
) as one of A&M’s core competencies advise clients in improving profitability targets and leading clients out of strategic and operational crisis situations in a sustainable manner.
Within CTS, the
EMEA Industrial Transformation Team
focuses on delivering top- and bottom-line impact across aerospace & defence, automotive, industrial products, chemicals, and energy. Our team combines industry expertise with strategic insight, advising or stepping into interim leadership roles to implement performance improvements that stick.
How you will contribute
As
Director (f/m/d) - Industrial Transformation
you will:
Lead (large-scale) transformation, restructuring, and performance improvement initiatives
Drive complex engagements from initial diagnostic through execution, often in high-pressure or time-critical situations
Partner with CEOs, Boards, and senior management to set priorities, stabilize performance, and drive enterprise-wide improvement
Translate strategic objectives into executable operating and financial improvement plans with measurable EBITDA and cash impact
Deliver initiatives across core industrial functions including operations, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, finance, S&OP, and R&D
Support M&A-related activities, including due diligence, carve-outs, post-merger integration, and 100-day value creation plans
Act as a trusted advisor and, where required, step into interim leadership roles
Qualifications
An excellent university degree and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
+10 years of professional experience, including + 5 years in a global top-tier restructuring, strategy or management consulting firm
Having practical industry leadership experience beyond consultancy is regarded as a valuable asset
Demonstrated history of achievement within a consulting firm, showcasing a dedication to professional growth and excellence
In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following industries: machinery & equipment, automotive, OEM supplier, industrial products, chemicals, aerospace & defence, energy, etc.
Entrepreneurial and impact-driven mindset
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German at native/business level
