Job Description
Location: Germany Borken (onsite)
What You’ll Do
Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our lab-based data center Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, routers, switches, and other critical infrastructure Execute structured cabling and physical hardware setup Deploy CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) and carry out functional tests Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs Ensure up-to-date and accurate documentation of systems and procedures
What You Bring
Completed vocational training or a degree in a technical field (e.g., data center operations, HVAC, electrical engineering) Experience with PtP (Point-to-Point) and PON (Passive Optical Networks) Proficient in technical documentation and process tracking Familiarity with hardware/software from various vendors (e.g., Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, etc.) Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and a proactive team mindset * Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
