Epassi is growing, especially through acquiring companies across Europe. Now we are looking for a Data Architect to lead our data engineering team.



As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for:



Designing and implementing integrations between our data platform and the systems of newly acquired companies

Driving technical planning of data engineering efforts, especially related to M&A cases

Owning the data architecture of our group-wide hybrid data platform (on-prem and cloud)

Developing the way of working together with the team towards data engineering best practices

Working with analytics, IT, engineering, finance, product, and GTM teams to drive business value through the data platform



You will be a great fit if you have:



7+ years of work experience in data engineering or architecture roles, with 2+ years leading technical teams

Hands-on experience with data integrations in M&A or other complex multi-entity environments

Expert-level knowledge of our key tech stack (AWS, Databricks/Spark, Airflow), IaC, and DataOps/DevOps practices

Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and scripting tasks

Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between engineering and business

Both technical and people skills to lead a high-performing team of data engineers

Willingness to work in a fast-paced and change-heavy environment

Working proficiency in English

The location of the role is either in Bremen or Hamburg. The team works across multiple European countries for the entire Epassi Group.
