Data Analyst – Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)



Effective Date:




as soon as possible, temporary contract for 6 months

Core Skills and Responsibilities:



Power BI Desktop

: Building reports and designing dashboards that support decision-making, with a focus on usability and performance.

Power BI Service

: Publishing reports, managing workspaces, configuring data refresh schedules, and handling access permissions.

Data Modelling

: Structuring and relating data effectively to support scalable and maintainable reporting solutions.

DAX

: Writing and optimizing DAX formulas for calculated columns, measures, and dynamic filtering.

Power Query

: Data transformation and cleaning using Power Query Editor, including merging, appending, and shaping data from multiple sources.

Visualization Design

: Applying best practices for clear, intuitive, and impactful data presentation tailored to business users.

Excel

: Advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Pivot for data analysis, and ideally VBA for automation tasks.

SQL

: Querying and manipulating data from relational databases to support data extraction and preprocessing.

SAP (MM/PP/SD modules)

: Understanding of SAP data structures and experience extracting/reporting on supply chain-relevant data (e.g., MB51, MB5B, QA tables).

Soft Skills:



Problem-Solving:

Analytical mindset to troubleshoot data issues and optimize reporting logic.

Communication:

Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and gather requirements effectively.

Collaboration:

Comfortable working cross-functionally with SC, IT, and business teams.

Stakeholder Management:

Experience translating business needs into technical reporting solutions and managing expectations.

Preferred Experience and Qualificaton:



Basic understanding of

Supply Chain Management

concepts (e.g., inventory, production, planning). Prior experience in

Supply Chain

or

Operations

roles. Familiarity with

Pharmaceutical

,

Automotive

, or

Consumer Goods industries

. Awareness of

compliance and regulatory reporting

standards in pharma or other regulated environments. Bachelor´s degree and/or comparable educational background.
