Position Overview:

As we expand our investment into growing our IT security landscape, we are seeking an experienced

Cyber Security Specialist

(m/f/x) to join our growing SecOps team. This team is responsible for protecting our digital infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and continuously strengthening our security architecture to support Lobster at scale.



In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our systems and data through proactive monitoring, thorough analysis, and the development of robust security measures—while working cross-functionally with internal teams to raise awareness and integrate secure practices across the organisation.

You’ll get to take ownership of:



Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring IT security systems and control measures Conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments Analysing security incidents and defining effective countermeasures Advising internal teams on IT security topics and best practices Contributing to the ongoing development of our security architecture Defining, updating, and documenting security policies and processes

We’d love to meet someone with:



A degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field At least

3 years of professional experience

in operational IT and/or IT security roles Strong knowledge of

network and system security

principles and technologies Familiarity with

security standards and frameworks

, such as ISO 27001 or BSI-Grundschutz Certifications like

CISSP

,

CEH

, or equivalent are a plus Excellent communication skills in both

German and English
